GLASGOW 17-9 ULSTER

Ulster suffered defeat at the hands of Glasgow Warriors in Edinborough in the RaboDirect Pro 12 League.

A poor game played in poor weather conditions made for a dull game. The game was scrappy viewing with very little attacking play by either side.

It was reduced to a kicking contest between Ulster's Ian Humphries and Glasgow's Duncan Weir who landed nine points apiece from place-kicks in the first-half.

The turning point in the game came from a break in midfield by Glasgow's Duncan Weir who showed some good inter-play with Troy Nathan, formaly of Connacht,  who touched down for the deciding try and Duncan Weir sealed the win for the Scottish outfit with a drop goal in the dying minutes to deny Ulster a bonus point.

Man of the Match: Duncan Weir
