GOODBYE PHILEAS

Well, I got rid of my Californian frog tonight after almost two years of nuturing hin from no bigger than a humble tadtpole.
It was a tough decision but the guy had grown so big, he had eaten every single fish in my aquarium.
That must be the nature of the beast, I suppose but he had out-grown my tank.
I did not want to evict him, but he was eating everything from neons to plattys, from tettras to barbs, so sadly, I had to get shut of him.
I was fond of the little begger but it was his time.
I caught him with a small saucepan which is being cleaned as I speak, he went quietly enough after so many attempts to catch him.
Rest in peace my friend

GEORGE HAMILTON MENTIONS 'SPEED WOBBLE' ON RTE

Bohemians 1 Shamrock Rovers 0

Great to see a bit of League of Ireland on RTE last night.
Great also to hear reverred commentator George Hamilton describe one of Bohemian's forwards who kind of fell over as a 'speed wobble'.
Now George, being the puritanicle man that he is, would not, I presume, be given to moments of 'speed wobbleing' himself.
But in a further humanisation of the man, he appears to be more understanding of the Irish physice.
Well done George, you are well on the way to a\'Road to Damascus' type salvation.
Stick with us and we will see you right!
